Red Rubberband

Red Rubberband is the newest project of Andrew Perelman and Jonah Gelfand. The two had played together in the band White Noise, but with the departure of their guitarist/singer/brother, Zac Gelfand, they began writing new music for a new band. The idea behind this band was to veer away from four-chord punk songs, and focus more on the intricacies of songwriting. RRB is based around the sound of two acoustic guitars. The lyrics are dedicated to being honest, literal, and relatable to those who listen.

Previously the guitarist/vocalist of local garage-punk trio White Noise, Zachary recently had to depart for the University of Michigan, marking the end of White Noise. Leading up to and throughout his first semester of school, Zachary spent a lot of time reflecting on his life before college, prompting him to write both music and prose, both of which has been released through RLC. He is currently working on tracks that will appear his debut full length solo effort.

Josh Bennett

"My story is simple, when I look around I see hope. I live in Boulder Colorado and over the course of my life I have realized that visual art - especially photography - is the most fluid way for me to communicate the big world around me. I don't know what my mission as a photographer is yet. But I do know how amazing experiences in life can be. I guess if someone asked me what I was trying to express, it would be to stay in the moment and live. Enjoy the beauty of the outdoors."
